Obituary:
James Monroe Hiatt (Bo) passed away at his home in Boonville, CA., on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 with his family present. Bo was born October 24, 1929 in Yorkville, Ca., he lived all his life in the Anderson Valley area.
Bo was a trucker and logger of 65 years. He will long be remembered for hauling the largest log loads. He enjoyed flying remote airplanes, antique cars, fishing, trucking, trucking, trucking and being with family & trucking.
Bo was the longest living heart surgery patient from Long Beach.
Bo is survived by his wife of 63 years Barbara Jean Hiatt of Boonville, daughters Terri Rhoades and Linda Abbott of Boonville, grandchildren Nick Rhoades, Justin Rhoades, Janelle Teague, and Steve C.M. Crawford, great grandchildren Chelsea Teague, Heather Teague, Anthony Rhoades and Natalie Marcum.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Boonville Apple Hall at 1:00 PM with a potluck lunch to follow.
