Private services will be held for Ira Lawrance Hill of Ukiah who passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his home with his family by his side.
Born February 27, 1921 in Almyra, Arkansas, Ira served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a heavy equipment operator and has lived in the Ukiah area for over 50 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Ira is survived by his daughters, Rita Arreguin (Ramon), Karen Gregory (Herb) and Kimberly Felton (Mark), brother Cecil H. Dunigan, grandchildren Fawnell Hill, Eric Williamson, Ashley Hill, Alicia Cruz, Michael Williamson and 7 great greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie in 2006, by his parents Ethel and Ivy, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
