Obituary:
Tonya Louise Housley passed away May 14, 2011, at her home is Boonville, CA. Tonya had just turned 40.
Tonya was born to Sylvia L. Carsey and Sam Breshears on May 4, 1971 in Ukiah, California. She grew up in Anderson Valley, enjoying Basketball, Softball, Cheerleading and horseback riding. She also enjoyed going to the Assembly of God church with her aunt, Debbie Sanchez.
Tonya married Juan Orozco in November 1987. The birth of their daughter, Rebeca and son, Juan Felipe turned Tonya into a mother that anyone would be blessed to have as their own.
Tonya starting running the Little League program in Anderson Valley as soon as her children were big enough to participate. She also coached basketball, soccer, and softball. Tonya enjoyed coaching her own children, but she also enjoyed being involved with each child she coached. She gave 100% of herself, to her children, family, friends and community.
In July of 1998, Tonya married Juan Flores. This marriage blessed her with another beautiful daughter, Angelica and two sons, Mateo and Marlon. Tonya worked hard to make all of her children feel special and loved.
Tonyas bright smile and laugh will always be remembered.
Tonya is survived by her mother, Sylvia Carsey, father Sam Breshears, and brothers William, Larry, and Mark, her grandmother Verna Mae Wallace and many aunts and uncles. She leaves her biggest loves, her children: daughter, Rebeca Larsen-Willis (Tosh) of Eureka, son Juan Felipe Orozco who is in the U.S. Marine Corps, and her minor children Angelica, Mateo and Marlon Flores. Tonya will be missed by her three grandsons, Kyan, Kayden and Kolby.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 2pm-8pm at Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah.
On Saturday, May 21st at 10am a memorial service held at the Assembly of God in Boonville. There will be a potluck lunch held next door at the Veterans Hall following the service.
