Obituary:
A Celebration of Life will be held for Warren Samuel Huckfeldt on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2 pm Lake Mendocino Estates. Warren passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 with his family by his side. Born January 5, 1942, he has resided in Ukiah for the past 50 years. He served as a Chemical Biological Warfare Specialist in the US Army in Dougway, Utah. In his youth his family owned Willow Point where he would work and water ski, later he owned and operated Hucks Tire. Huck belonged to the Ukiah Elks Lodge, Ukiah Lions Club and Ukiah Rotary Club. He was a community volunteer, master BBQer, excellent host to many people. He organized many floats in Ukiah Parades, hosted foreign exchange students and cooked for many fundraisers and local charity organizations. He was an outdoor sportsman who enjoyed hunting and water skiing. Huck will be remembered for being a loving father and grandparent. His family was his focus doing big BBQs, holiday Cioppino feeds, making candy and olives with his daughters and grandchildren. He was fondly known as Butch to family. Warren is survived by his wife of 27 years Cora Bailes Huckfeldt of Ukiah, daughters Holly L. Enzler of Ukiah, Wendy Bartolomei of Ukiah, step-son Darren Bailes of Ukiah, grandchildren Simica Enzler of Petaluma, Taylor Enzler of Austin, Texas, Lain Enzler of Ukiah, Harlie Bartolomei of Ukiah and Reece Bartolomei of Ukiah.
