It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Inez Ann Carpenter, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother & friend, who peacefully departed this world on March 17, 2025, at the age of 91.
Iney, as she was known to those close to her, was a woman committed to her family and friends. She was kind & thoughtful. She appreciated the simple joys of life. She loved a good bingo game, a day at the casino with friends or family, or scouring a garage sale for a hidden gem. What perhaps stood out most about Iney was her gratitude. Even in difficult times, one could hear her say how lucky she was & how blessed she was. She loved & she was loved.

After marrying a young sailor, Orie Carpenter in March of 1952 they started their family welcoming daughters Cindy & later Cathy before moving to Ukiah, California where Orie’s family was from. We thought of you today, but that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday and will tomorrow, too.
We think of you in silence and make no outward show.
For what it meant to lose you, only those who love you know.
Remembering you is easy, we do it every day.
It is the heartache of losing you, that will never go away.
