Jesus Delgado Ramirez

Jesus Delgado Ramirez, 90, of Ukiah, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 with his loved ones by his side. Jesus was born July 26, 1932 in Atacheo, Michoacan to Antonio Delgado Sandoval and Maria Ramirez Mendez.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening. His garden was always full of vegetables that consisted of tomatoes, onions, corn and zucchini.  The front lawn was always covered with beautiful flowers and plants in the spring and summer.   Jesus also worked many years and dedicated his life to agriculture and the sawmill industry.

His family will always remember his warm hugs and his generous heart. He had a way of making his grandchildren feel loved in their own way.  You could never leave the house without a hug goodbye, cookies, or una fruta y un jugo. 

Jesus is survived by his children Alicia Woolworth and her husband Rick; Delia Lopez; Loreto (Lori) Favila and her husband Fernando; Berta Tellez and her husband Jose; Silvia Garcia and her husband Francisco; and, Hector Delgado and his wife Gaby. As well as, thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Lola Dolores, Maria Rosa, Leopoldo, Francisco, Maria, Alejandro and several nieces and nephews. Jesus is preceded in death by his children Irma, Jessy, and Victor, siblings Gracia, Teresa, Antonio and Jorge, his lovely wife Gracia and his parents Antonio Delgado Sandoval and Maria Ramirez Mendez.

A viewing will begin at 1:00pm with a rosary service being held at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Eversole Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 12^th at 12:30pm , St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. A burial will follow at the Ukiah Cemetery.
