Jimmie Joyce Chambers-Miller

Jimmie Joyce Chambers-Miller passed away at her home on December 21, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Born July 21, 1934 in Woodford, Oklahoma, Joyce resided in the Ukiah area for the last 80 years.  She was a contractor, housewife and real estate agent. She married Bob Miller December 11, 1950. She loved bowling, fishing, socializing and travelling. She was fond of collecting entertainment and dinnerware as well as using it and had great luck. She was proud of her succesful marriage and raining her children. Joyce will be rememberd for her iconic parties- especially the food, good morals and standards, good taste and being the boss. She was a member of the Ukiah Elks Wandering Waptits and the Calvary Baptist Church.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Brenda Joyce Miller, son, Bobby Gene Miller Jr, sister Billie Maye, grandchildren, Sherri Cape, Richard W. Rumsey, great grandchildren Jessica "James" and Katlyn Rumsey and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Miller Sr., sisters Jackie and Katherine, brother Lewis and great grandson Troy Cape.
