Obituary:
Loralyn Johnson, died in a local hospital on Sunday September 5, 2010 with her loving family by her side. Age 53, she was born in San Jose and lived in Ukiah for 22 years. Known for her Native American beadwork, she also loved painting, fine art and was an animal activist. Lori was recognized by Toys for Tots and was also recognized for her volunteer work by the Berlin Brigade. She will be remembered for going out of her way to help people through anything without complaint, regardless of her own needs and limits. She was very proud of her children and finding her brothers along with helping people in need. She was a Catholic and a Native American Spiritualist.
Lori is survived by her husband Chris Johnson of Ukiah, daughter Shannon Santanolito of Cupertino, son Jesse David James DeWald, brothers Kenneth L. McArdle of Ukiah, James Marion McArdle of Ukiah, Kevin McArdle of Medford, OR and her grandson Mason Nathaniel DeWald. Loris parents, Patricia Ruthanne Baker and Jim McArdle,predeceased her.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday September 12, 2010 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 293 Seminary Ave., Ukiah. Loris family would greatly appreciate donations to Chris Johnson, c/o Eversole Mortuary, 141 Low Gap Road, Ukiah, CA 95482
