Dennis Allen Johnson Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Dennis Allen Johnson Sr. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Low Gap Park. Dennis passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at his home in Ukiah.
Born May 18, 1957 in Palm Springs, Dennis owned D & D Paints in Lakeport, DJ Mini Storage in Ukiah and was manager of the Ukiah Hospice Thrift and Gift Shop. He was active with Ukiah Hospice and Drug and Alcohol Rehab with the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department both of which he was very proud of being a part of. He received numerous awards, was proud of them all and would talk your ear off. He will be remembered for his constant smile and ability to laugh no matter what life threw at him. He was always ready with a joke or some wisdom and experience to help you through any trouble. He would often say, “Talk to my lawyer.” and “It is what it is.”
Dennis is survived by his daughter Diane, sons Dennis and Darren, father Don Lowell Johnson Sr., adopted daughter Katie, stepson Justin, half-brother Arthur Scott, grandchildren Dustin, Jake, Emma, Randell, Quinn, Kozard and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his brother Don Johnson Jr.
