Obituary:
Buelah Mae Jones, 89, of Ukiah passed away on November 1, 2013. Buelah was born March 23, 1924 in Greenfield, Mo. She has been a local residence for almost 20 years.
Buelah was a homemaker and a vocational nurse. She was a proud mother, wife and grandma. In her late fifties she got her GED and became a LVN Nurse.
She was a longtime member of the Trinity Church, foster grandparent and friend to many. Her family will remember her service to Christ, helping others in need, volunteering in the nursery, providing meals and other assistance to many and providing many delicious meals for family and friends.
Buelah is survived by her daughter Sherry Erickson of Ukiah, sons Frankie Dean Jones and his wife Annette of Redding and Danny Ray Jones and his wife Warene of Ukiah, grandchildren Dana & Dan Spears, Justin Jones, Sean Jones, Brian Jones, Kristina Jones, Jason and Kim Holmes and Darlyann and Mathew Starr also 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Buelah was preceded in death by her husband Frankie B. Jones, parents, two sisters and three brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Ukiah Cemetery with Pastor Joe Fry officiating.
The family prefers memorial donations be made to the Cross Roads Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
