Judy Lynn SHAWK

Judy Lynn Shawk, born September 21, 1947 in Willits, California to Verle and Majorie Harrah, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2023 in Ukiah, California. 

 Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married her beloved husband Doug Shawk 56 years ago and together they raised two sons, Derek and Quintin. Judy was a dedicated employee of the Ukiah Unified School District for 33 years, working as a teacher aide, custodian, and librarian. She was devoted to all the kids she taught over the years, and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Judy was an avid traveler, camper, and rider of her VW Trike. She enjoyed bingo the outdoors and exploring new places wether with her family or as a Band Mom with the Ukiah High School Band.  She was a passionate reader, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Judy was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Judy is survived by her husband Doug, her sons Derek and Quintin, her daughters-in-law Jennifer and Karen, her grandchildren Cassandra, Zane, Brody, Ian, Daevah and Dominic along with her great-granddaughter Alexandra, her sister Jeanne Harrah Johnson and her Husband Jerry. There is also to many to name that considered her their bonus mom that she loved as if they were her own.
