Obituary:
Margaret B. Butler Karger, 95, of Potter Valley passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Ukiah Valley Medical Center. Margaret was born April 9, 1917 in Bowman, North Dakota.
Margaret had lived locally for the past 42 years.
Margaret graduated from high school and attended business school, she worked in sales at a lumber company for many years.
She was proud of her pictures she painted. She was active in the Ukiah Senior Center dances and other Senior Center actives along with the Ukiah Grange.
In 1993, she met her husband Robert Karger volunteering at a senior dance. He will remember her as being a wonderful wife.
Margaret is survived by her husband Robert Karger of Potter Valley, a retired Los Angeles city fire fighter, step daughters Janis of In., Phyllis of Tx., step son Merrill Butler of In., sister Dorothy Glendenon of Mt., brother Vern Bublitz of Mt., also survived by seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Henry Bublitz and her parents.
A private graveside will be held at the Ukiah Cemetery, at Margaret’s request no formal services will be held.
