Earl Otto Kitchenhoff
My dearly beloved husband has gone to his Heavenly Home on August 29, 2009. He was born to Frank & Gertrude Kitchenhoff on December 12, 1916 in Rascommon County, Michigan.
Earl had schooling in Houghton Lake, Michigan. He was a very friendly person and had many friends, especially hunting & fishing buddies. He was a member of Ukiah Valley Nazarene Church where he had many friends, also. He had a Garden Service in Palo Alto and Mountain View. Also, he worked 12 years at Lucille Pachard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. He also worked at Ford & Chevrolet factories during WWII, working on aircraft for the war effort in Flint & Detroit, Michigan
His wife, Kathleen, survives him and his brother Lester and nieces & nephews in Michigan and Minnesota.
He married Kathleen L. Sanford of Palo Alto, CA on October 18, 1942 and has been married for 66 years. He enjoyed traveling and enjoyed people and country.
He was a life member of National Rifle Association. He was a crack shot deer hunter. He was my darling husband.
Funeral services will be celebrated at Church of the Nazarene Thursday at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at the Ukiah Cemetery.
