Obituary:
Stanley B. Knedler was born in Cantril, Iowa, August 3, 1930. The son of Bernie W. Knedler and Marie E. Knedler. He had two brothers and three sisters. Don, Richard, Maxine, Arlene and Darlene.
Stan was in the 5th Marines Division and served in Korea and was awarded the Korean service medal, One Star, UN Ribbon, Good Conduct medal and the Purple Heart for his service.
He was honorably discharged and returned to California to marry his wife of 49 years, Abbie. They had two children, Steve and Linda.
Stan lived in Redwood Valley since 1962. He remodeled their home and worked the land for 52 years.
He leaves behind a son and daughter, a sister, nieces, nephews and many close friends. His life was more complete by all who knew him.
Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 12 noon at Eversole Mortuary.
