Edward Joseph Lamb
Edward Joseph Lamb, 70, died July 17, 2017 at his Ukiah home after a brave battle with lung cancer.
Joe was born February 3, 1947 in Ukiah, California to Henry and Dolorez (Diamond) Lamb.
He grew up in Willits, CA, graduating from Willits High School in 1965. Joe served in the Army as a combat engineer from 1966 to 1968. After returning from Vietnam he continued employment with Crawford Lumber Mill (Mendocino Forest Products) where he retired after 43 years.
Joe had many interests, among them were gardening, camping, music, going to local plays, cruising, SF Giants and especially spending time with his family. He was a lifetime member of The Redwood Iris Society.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Virginia; son Eric, daughter Elizabeth, sister Suzie Jones (Paul) Rohnert Park, Aunt Helene Lamb Stegall (Ohio), several special nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Henry Lamb, mother Dolorez Evans, brother Hank Lamb and sister-in-law Joanne McGrew.

Per Joe's request there will be no services and interment will be private.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. All are welcome.
