Obituary:
Betty Alice Larsen, of Ukiah passed away, peacefully in her home on
January 20, 2011 after a long illness. Betty was a resident of Ukiah
for more than 50 years and worked as a telephone operator, a matron with
the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office and a housewife. Betty was
married to William A. Larsen, a retired Mendocino County Sheriff's
Sergeant who passed away in 1988. Betty is survived by her sister,
Virginia Minton of Ukiah, her children, Lynn Hedrick of Ukiah, Matthew
Larsen of Arcata and Michael Whitchurch of Jacksonville, Florida. Betty
is also survived by her grandchildren, Jesse, Jonathon, Jody and Josiah
Stickels, James Powell, Alexandra, Brittany and Nathan Larsen, Maria,
Missy,
Michael, Josh and Lindsay Whitchurch as well as many great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Ukiah Cemetery.
