William Robert Latimer - age: 83
(May 15, 1933 to February 15, 2017
)
Resident of
Montara, California
Visitation Information:
An officer and a gentleman, William Robert Bob Latimer of Montara passed on February 15, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was the only son of Jimmy and Fern Latimer, born in Longview, Washington in 1933. He met the love of his life, his honeybabe Mary Lou Melville Latimer while attending University of Washington, in Pullman. Bob served in the Army Chemical Corps in Fort McClellan, Alabama, and was on active reserves for ten years. Following that, Bob was a successful self-employed businessman, with a fine eye for detail and organization. One of the greatest generation, with a finely tuned moral compass who quietly but absolutely loved his family, community, and country, Bob was quick with a joke and had an amazing quirky sense of humor. He loved the 49ers, and Warriors, and enjoyed many evenings with his family watching the game. Bob leaves his wife Mary Lou, daughters Cheryl Kwalleck and Terri McCartney, grandchildren Chris, Angie, and Andy, godsons Coleman and Austin, with a lifetime of memories to carry them forward.
Well be thinking of you and thanking you everyday Bob, Dad, Gramps
