Charles E. Leek

Charles E. Leek of Ukiah passed away at his home on Saturday, February 20, 2010 surrounded by his family.
Born September 15, 1926 in Ukiah, Charles was a lifelong resident of the area. He served in the military during WWII in Japan and the Philippines. He was a truck driver, receiving truck driving safety awards, who was very proud of his family. Charles enjoyed golf in which he received awards, fishing, spending time with his family, loved the outdoors, camping and a good piece of pie. He will be remembered for being a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Charles is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruby Leek, daughters Brenda, Rose and Lonnie, sons Larry, Robert, Dan and Ken, sister Olive Crawford, grandchildren Barbara, Robert Jr., Terra, Aaron, Helene and Andrew, great grandchildren Shanti, Christiana, Camron, Ashley, Austin, Ashley and Landon.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, February 27, 2010. Please call the family for details.
