Obituary:
Miguel Mendoza Lua, 56, of Ukiah passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at his home surrounded by family & loved ones. Miguel was born October 7, 1955 in Paredones, Michoacan, Mexico.
Miguel was educated in Mexico. In 1976 Miguel moved to Ukiah to make his home. He worked for Waste Management as a truck driver. Miguel was proud of his sons and daughter, they where his pride and joy. His family will remember his upbeat spirit, sense of humor, his enthusiasm for sports! And always being positive even in grim situations.
Miguel is survived by his wife Yolanda Mendoza, whom he married April 26, 1980, daughter Erika Mendoza, sons Oscar Mendoza and Cesar Mendoza, sisters Martha Mendoza, Berta Bernal, Margarita Mendoza, Catalina Gonsalez and Marta Meza, brothers Jose Mendoza & Jesus Mendoza, grandchildren Alexya Barrera, Nanibaa Mendoza, Cristian Mendoza, Kylie Mendoza and Mariah Galindo. Miguel was preceded in death by his parents.
A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church parish hall at 7:00 PM, a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church at 10:00 AM burial will follow at the Ukiah Cemetery.
