Obituary:
Michael James Marino (Mickey) was born on April 3, 1937 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Vincent and Antoinette Marino. Michael passed away in Santa Rosa, Ca. Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Brothers, Anthony and Joseph, sisters, Angelina and Elisabeth deceased……and survived by sisters Josephine Bittenbender and Anita Glovas. Michael is a Veteran having served in the United States Air Force, a licensed barber in Pennsylvania. He moved to Ukiah in 1978 and opened the areas first deli, Foothill Market on Dora Street. Then he founded Marino’s Pizza. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia, his children, Ronald, Joseph (deceased), Michelle, Michael, Christine, Richard, and Timothy, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was always able to make all of us laugh. He enjoyed driving his Green Fiat 500, his dog Bebe, wearing speedos, gardening, and gambling, but mostly gambling.
He was loved and will be missed.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Eversole Mortuary from 12-5 PM. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
