Thomas Eugene Mayhew

Memorial services for Thomas Eugene Mayhew of Ukiah will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Eversole Mortuary. A reception will follow at 12 noon at the Ukiah Elks Lodge.
Born March 7, 1943 in Fort Bragg, Thomas passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in Ukiah. Thomas graduated from Fort Bragg High in 1961, served in the US Army from 1961-1964, 82nd Airborne and was a Senior Parachutist. He worked as a mailman and bread man in Fort Bragg and as a UPS man and liquor salesman in Ukiah. He was a member of the Elks, Moose and Teamsters Union. He will be remembered for his love of abalone diving, wood cutting and his generosity.
Thomas is survived by his wife Cindy Franci Mayhew of Ukiah, sons Richard Arthur Mayhew of Santa Rosa, Stephen James Mayhew of Phoenix, AZ, mother Elaine Shirley Mayhew of Fort Bragg, brother Lester Mayhew of Fort Bragg, grandson Thomas James Mayhew of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Eugene Mayhew and daughter Noelle Suzanne Mayhew.
Memorial contributions to the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County 590 S. Dora St. Ukiah, CA 95482 are preferred.
