Fred McIntyre

A private Celebration of Life will be held for Fred McIntyre of Ukiah who passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home with his family present. Born July 1, 1942 in Los Angeles, he has resided in the area for the past 38 years. Fred served his country in the US Army from 1959 – 1963 as an MP at the Presidio in San Francisco. He was a self-employed landscaper and was very proud of his and Arlene’s Karaoke business; they hosted fun karaoke for several years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
Fred is survived by his wife of 26 years, Arlene McKeown McIntyre, daughters Laura Lovelady and spouse Ken, Chris Bettencourt, sons Mike McKeown, Tom McKeown and spouse Heidi, sister Jackie Leal and spouse Henry, brother Steve McIntyre and spouse Sherry, grandchildren Nate Lovelady, Stephanie Lovelady, Mikey Bettencourt, Ben Bettencourt, April McKeown, Allison Quiroga, Jonathon Dewey, Sean Dewey, Kelly-ann McKeown, Noah McKeown and great grandchild Riley Blanchard. He was preceded in death by his brother Ron McIntyre, sister Diane Hotteling, daughter Kelly McKeown and son-in-law Ronnie Bettencourt.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Ukiah.
