I miss you so much! And while this hole in my heart will never be filled again, I find comfort knowing you are nestled in with the loving embrace of God
and that I was blessed to know you

Her family moved to Redwood City in her teens she attended Capuchino High in San Mateo then to Canada JC to learn computer science. After a while with Winkirk Electronics she got into the restaurant world. In 1986 she moved to Little River and soon opened Cheris by the Sea in the Noyo Harbor with her husband Tim. Cheri enjoyed golf, playing in the dirt and road trips. Her favorite places to travel to were Hawaii, Yosemite and the Mendocino Coast before moving here. Her first trip to the Mendocino Coast she drove HWY 1 all day and into the night, thought she must be in Oregon. It turned out she was at the Little River Inn, her all-time favorite place on the coast.
She loved helping others especially children. When facing any obstacle she would say, How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
She had a very strong faith and spent as many Sundays as she could at the Chapel of the Redwoods in Comptche and Four Square Church in Fort Bragg. A celebration of life will be held in San Francisco on Jan 25, 2014 at 12 Noon. Contact family for details.
