Doris May McPherson, 86, of Ukiah passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at home with her family at her side. She was born May 19, 1927 in Geyserville, Ca.
Doris was a Choir Directory with the first United Church in Cloverdale and a Worthy Matron with the Order of the Eastern Star. Her family will remember her love of gardening, fishing, camping and her family.
Doris is survived by her daughter Linda Belford and her husband Steve of Cloverdale, Ca., son Robert McPherson and his wife Shelley of Ukiah, Ca. grandchildren Heather & Howard Murray, Russ & Maria Fleshman, Aaron and Evonne McPherson, Tony & Tiffany McPherson, Cody & Ashley Hollett, Willie McPherson, Kathy Fleshman and Steven & Kim Belford, great grandchildren Tyler, Micaela, Gabrielle, Christopher, Alicia, Klint, Gunner, Lily and Savanna. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Russell McPherson, sister Ada Hertzog, brothers Herb, Elmer and William Smith, and her parents Thomas and Lena Lovell Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Ukiah Cemetery at 3:00 PM
The family prefers memorial donations in Doris’ name to Phoenix Hospice or the Parkinson Institute
