A Celebration of Life will be held to Charles Anthony Melendrez of Fort Bragg on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1 pm at Eversole Mortuary.
Born June 24, 1960 in Whittier, California, Tony passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Fort Bragg. Tony resided in Fort Bragg for the last 20 yrs and in Ukiah and Long Beach prior. He worked as a handyman and in construction. He was proud of his family and friends, learning a trade from our dad. He was proud of our dad. He will be remembered for his smile and laughter, he loved making friends, helping others, his big heart and kindness. He loved his family and friends. Favorite quote: “Always lend a helping hand to whomever in need.”
Tony is survived by a daughter, sons Lenny Anthony, Dexter Gregory and Isaac David, sisters Laura Melendrez and Adella Melendrez-Perez of Ukiah, brothers Roger Melendrez of Dalton, Georgia and Jimmy Pineda of Ukiah, his mother Velia Pineda of Ukiah, grandson Jessie, granddaughter Tatianna Melendrez, two granddaughters and special friends Eileen Bostwick and Nancy Quinones. He was preceded in death by dad James Pineda Sr. and nephew Steven M. Lopez.
