Lucille M. Miller
Funeral services for Lucille M. Miller of Ukiah will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 2 pm at Eversole Mortuary with Pastor Rick Oliver officiating. Lucille passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 with her family by her side.
Born August 25, 1916 in Ukiah, she was a life time resident and came from a Mendocino County Pioneer family. She married Mack M. Miller, also from a Mendocino County Pioneer family, on January 3, 1936. Lucille was a homemaker and was involved with childcare. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge. Lucille was most proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her family was her life. She will be remembered for her strong appreciation for Gods nature, she adored and truly loved her best friend and husband Mack and had an unwavering loyalty to her family, her church and her God. She was honored by the Ukiah Bible Church on Mothers Day 2009 for being the longest living and most actively engaged Mother. Her favorite quote, I love you.
Lucille is survived by her sons Wayne Miller of Ukiah, Lee C. Miller and wife Linda of Ukiah, Lynn C. Miller and wife Shirley of Aptos, California, brother Bill Christy and wife Sally of Redding, grandchildren Matthew, Jolan, Carla, JoLee, Tascha, Danielle, Tharen, Jacob, Michael and JoyLynn and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Myrten and Etta Christy, husband Mack M. Miller and sister Bernice Denham.
