Mary Rosetti Milone

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be said for Mary Rosetti Milone of Hopland on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 1 pm at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hopland. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 7 pm at Eversole Mortuary. Interment will be in Hopland Cemetery. Mary passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 at a local convalescent hospital with her family at her side.
Born December 27, 1908 in Willits, Mary lived 82 years in the family home in Hopland. She was a homemaker who will be remembered for her love of her family and for her gardening. She was a member of the PTA, Farm Bureau, Iris Society, Redwood Empire Fair, Mendocino Fair and Apple Show, Garden Club and a Charter Member of the Senior Center.
Mary is survived by her daughter Della Milone Gibson, son Frank Milone and wife Polly, sister Julia Massaro, brother Robert Rosetti all of Hopland, grandchildren Linda Doty of Willits, Frances McGehee of Redwood Valley, Donna Wilsey, Jim Milone, Robert Gibson, Frank “Hoss” Milone all of Hopland, 17 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincenzo “Jim” Milone and granddaughter Sandra Russell.
Memorial contributions to the Ukiah Senior Center are preferred.
