Obituary:
Tammie Jean Moir went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 7:30 P.M. Her husband, Don, was at her side in their home. Family members and friends had been caring for Tammie daily over the past months. She is survived by her husband, Don, children, Vincent Moir, Tonya Stultz and husband Danny, Colin Moir and wife Kassandra, her father, Lyle Vincent Sr., her sister April Paulin and husband Scott, her brother, Lyle Vincent Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, and Dons parents, Terry & Doris Moir. Tammie was born April 25, 1962 and had been a resident of the Ukiah area for the past 33 years. She and Don Moir married on September 27, 1986. Family and friends note that there really is no way to do justice to her life in just a few paragraphs, but shared lasting memories of her dedication to family, generosity, love, compassion for others, and faith in Jesus. As well as being a member of Redwood Valley Community Church, Tammie was a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi, and the owner of Village Book Exchange in Ukiah.
Services will be held at the Ukiah Cemetery on Wednesday October 21st at 2 P.M. The service will be presided over by Pastor Kevin McDougal and followed by a gathering at Redwood Valley Community Church.
