Obituary:
LAURA MORA BRAVO was born on September 12, 1969 in Calexico, CA. She went to rest with OUR HEAVENLY FATHER on her favorite day of the week, Friday, August 21, 2020 (on her moms birthday). She is now rejoicing with her parents, Pablo and Juanita Mora. As well as with her Sister Adela Tejeda who passed last month. Along with her brothers Miguel, Guadalupe, Mario, David and Eduardo Lalo. Laura moved to Ukiah, CA in 1988 after graduating from Calexico High School in Calexico, CA. She attended Mendocino Community College and graduated with an AA, transferred to Sonoma State University where she majored in Chicano Studies. Laura worked hard for her education, with two jobs and a family at home she made her dream possible. She worked for Mendocino College Programs like Mini Corps and HEP Program. She was a big support to her community. Involved with the youth as well as adult. She taught them to be independent and how to succeed in their careers, by encouraging them to complete what they started. She was the Life of the Party. Always shining bright. With love for music she enjoyed dancing and listening to her husband play in a band. She loved her pets Leo and Nana. We will miss her affection and love she shared with us all. Her laughter and happiness also. Laura is survived by her daughter, Adela Browning, husband Israel Bravo, numerous nieces, nephews, God-children, friends and her brothers, Jose, Pedro, Antonio, Serafin, Arturo, Pablo and Fernando.
