Beverly Ann Morby
Beverly Ann Morby passed away on December 21, 2011 in Fortuna, California with her longtime friend Pete Dunnebeck at her side.
Beverly was born in Ukiah on August 7, 1930 and was a lifelong resident. She attended Dominican School and later San Jose State College. In her early years she operated the family pear orchard on Talmage Road. Beginning in 1972 she owned and operated The Yarn Shop on Perkins Street.
In failing health, she moved to Fortuna and resided at Sequoia Springs Assisted Living to be near her daughter Christine (Sankulla) Boynton and her son Eric.
Beverly enjoyed gardening, flowers, knitting, needlepoint, her pet dogs and cats and her canary bird Chirpo. She travelled over much of the world, including China and Europe.
She is survived by her three children, Christine of Ferndale, Eric Sankulla of Ferndale and Jillene of Washington State and her friend and companion Pete Dunnebeck. She enjoyed her five grandchildren, Ashley (Boynton) Foltz, Brett Boynton, Chelsea Boynton, Nathan Rice and Clinton Rice. She also has four great grandchildren, Raineo, Joselyn and Griffin (Ashley) and Svea (Brett).
Beverly will be interred in the family plot at the Russian River Cemetery on Low Gap Road after a graveside service on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11 a.m.
