Obituary:
Andrea Morrison, 63, of Ukiah, California passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at home with her family at her side.
She leaves her beloved husband of almost 44 years, Gary Morrison; her dearly loved daughters, Trina Peterson of Ukiah and Cheryl Morrison of Cloverdale; her much loved sons-in-law, Dan Peterson of Ukiah and Julio Gomez of Cloverdale; her adored grandsons, Alex Morrison of Cloverdale, Dylan Peterson and Austin Peterson both of Ukiah.
She also leaves her sisters, Laurie (& Marty) Handegard of Ukiah, Lynne Schue of Ukiah, and Kathy (& Bob) Hiatt of Hopland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was born Andrea McNeill and lived the first 20 years of her life in Hopland. She is a member of the Dooley/Harpe family, some of the earliest settlers in the Sanel Valley. She married Gary on December 21, 1968. They made their home in Ukiah where they have lived and raised their family.
Andrea was a woman of fierce loyalty, great generosity, and amazing strength and courage. Never one to seek the spotlight, she was always the source of quiet comfort and wisdom. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
It was Andrea’s request that no services be held.
Memorial contributions to Ukiah Hospice are preferred.
