Elwood M. Myatt

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Elwood M. Myatt of Ukiah who passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 with his family by his side.
Born November 9, 1936 in Santa Cruz, Elwood was raised in the Watsonville area and moved to Ukiah to be closer to his brothers Earl and Robert. He loved this area so much he decided to stay and raise his family. He was a mill worker and retired from Dalerio’s Pallet and Shook. He was most proud of finishing high school. Elwood was an avid Nascar and football fan. He will be remembered for his exceptional capacity for love and kindness towards his family and friends. He will be terribly missed.
Elwood is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbra Myatt, daughters Vickie Gibson of Prunedale, CA, Karen Elder of Ukiah, CA, Sheila Whorton of Lucerne, CA, son Ken Cagnina of Ukiah, CA, sister-in-laws Nancy Myatt of Watsonville, CA, Louise Myatt of Napa, CA, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Lottie and brothers George, Earl Jr. and Robert Myatt.
Inurnment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
