At his request no services are to be held for Steven Newhall of Redwood Valley who passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in San Rafael following a long illness. Born December 10, 1950 in Ukiah, Steven served his country during Viet Nam in the US Army. He is survived by his sisters Linda Gardner and husband Jack, Sandy Brittain and husband Ron, aunts Hallie Funkhouser, Rita Jones, his caregiver and best friend Janice Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Marian Newhall and sister Jackie Newhall. Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
