Obituary:
Gina Lynn Parducci Nickel passed away on March 18, 2014 at the age of 45 after a year long battle with cancer. She was born September 28, 1968 in Ukiah, Ca. She was the daughter of Harry and Sue Parducci of Ukiah. She is survived by her husband Fred Nickel, daughter Nicole Schmidt, step-daughter Samantha Nickel and sister Ginette Parducci Rinehart (Reed Rinehart), nephews Bryce Bazzani, Ethan Rinehart and niece Ava Rinehart.
Gina worked many years for the County of Mendocino Public Defenders Office. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and daughter. She will be remembered for the strength, optimism and love for her family and friends. There will be a graveside service held at Ukiah Cemetery on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Willits.
A Remembrance and Celebration of Gina’s life for family and friends will follow the service at Jaxon Keys Winery, 10400 S Hwy 101, Hopland, Ca.
