MAE ROSE BRUEGGEMAN NIDEROST
Mae was born September 21, 1923 in Oak Lawn, Illinois and passed on Saturday August 17, 2013. Mae is now with her husband (Ben Niderost) of 65 years who preceded her in death. Mae is survived by her brother Paul (Skip) Brueggeman of Hayward, WI ; her sister-in-law and dear friend Geri Brueggeman of Bloomington, MN; her daughter Nancy Stromberg and her husband Carl of Green Valley, AZ ; her daughter Denise Niderost of Ukiah, CA; her son Lynn Niderost and his wife Judy of Umpqua,OR; grandchildren Nadine Bowles, Gina Stromberg, Ben Niderost, Rashel McKemy and Travis Niderost; Mae also has five great-grandchildren.
Mae was a woman who loved to be busy whether it was gardening (which she dearly loved) doing oil painting, playing games, crafts and especially traveling. She made trips to Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Morocco, Italy and Puerto Rico. Since her husband was a military veteran she thoroughly enjoyed the time he was stationed in Hawaii and Guam.
In the 1940’s someone she worked with started calling her Daisy Mae and though few people knew that---those who called her Daisy Mae really made her smile.
The family has chosen to honor her wishes and there will not be a memorial service.
