Zella Druscilla Nova

A visitation for Zella Druscilla Nova will be held at Hopland Tribal Gym on Friday, April 8, from 10 a.m. through 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 with a potluck dinner. Bring your favorite dish. Inurnment will be on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Potter Valley Cemetery.
Born June 19, 1959 in Cloverdale, Zella graduated high school, was a true believer and has resided in the area her whole life. She was self-employed and a very active member of her community. She loved spending time with her granddaughters who she loved very deeply. She was very proud of being a grandmother. She will be remembered for being a very good friend that always would be there in a time of need. Her favorite phrase, “That’s just nonsense.”
She is survived by her son Walter M. Nova III, sisters Adrian Frease, Diane Frease, Cheryl Frease, brothers Leon Frease, Cederic Potter and granddaughters Marie Rose Nova and Shanoah Veronica Faber. She was preceded in death by her mother Ila Marie Potter, husband Walter M. Nova, brothers Zemmie Potter, Frank Frease Sr. and cousin Ted Ampella.
