Memorial services for Edward Arthur O’Bryan of Ukiah who passed away on September 16, 2013, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Yokayo Bowl. Born August 15, 1950 in Parsons, KS, he graduated from Parsons Senior High School and joined the US Navy in 1968, served 4 years and received an Honorable Discharge in 1972. He worked as a Security Guard at MRSP in Fort Scott, KS upon his discharge. He worked in various factories (lumber and Furniture) until he had to take disability in 1995.
Ed is survived by his sons Jole Shadden of Grove, OK, Everett O’Bryan of Nevada, MO, Eddie O’Bryan of Nevada, MO, daughter Wanda O’Bryan of California, sisters Betty Nicholas of Parsons, KS, Macy Carson of Lake Charles, LA, Lei Wade of Grand Junction, CO, Sami Stern of Kansas City, KS, brothers John O’Bryan of Lucerne, CA, Jim O’Bryan of Independence, MO, 27 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett A. O’Bryan in 2004 and Edith E. O’Bryan in 2001.
