Obituary:
Betty Mae Ornbaun (age 84) passed peacefully at home on April 16, 2011 with her family by her side. Betty was born January 15, 1927 in Ukiah, California and raised her family with pride. Betty is survived by her children Alan and his wife Pauline, Eddie and David Ornbaun; her grandchildren Danielle and Rick Lower, Kim and Bryan Larson, Courtney and Angelo Biagi; her great-grandchildren Alicia and Ashley Lower, Logan Larson. Betty loved being with her family, playing bridge with her dear friends, playing the piano, dancing with her grandchildren, and traveling the world with her husband. She also enjoyed the green of spring at her family ranch. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Carroll Ornbaun. Betty will be remembered for her commitment to family, her dedication to excellence, and her strong-willed opinions. The family is thankful for the compassion and care from Rosalinda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. At Betty’s request, a private gathering of family will be held at the Russian River Cemetery on Friday, April 22, 2011.
