Orren Edwin Hale Jr. passed away Oct. 15, 2022 in Ukiah with his family by his side. He was born in Fence Lake, New Mexico on April 30, 1961 to Orren and Bessie Hale. Orren has lived in Mendocino County for the past 55 years. He was a logger, choker setter and mill worker for 15 years. Orren had many favorite activities: howling at the moon, fishing with family and friends, skipping rocks, whittling wood, hanging out with “Mary”, listening to his favorite music and playing poker. His proudest accomplishments were his three children, ten grandkids and one great grandson. He will be remembered for his fishing stories and howling at the moon. Orren is predeceased by his parents, June and Foxie Hale, sisters, Carol Beck and Vicki Crow and brother Jesse Wallace. He is survived by his daughters; Jessica Eutsy and Tabitha Hale and son Timothy Hale, sisters; Wendy Blake, Sherri Ornbaun, Tahna Hale and Loretta Hale, brothers; Clarence Hale and Jim Hale, and of course his little dog Otis Hale. Services are being held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00am at the Church Of Latter Day Saints, 1337 South Dora Street, Ukiah, Ca 95482. Following services there will be a celebration of life and BBQ at the Lions Park in Redwood Valley, Ca.
