Linda Piffero
A memorial service for family and friends of Linda will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Danny and Danielle’s home, 11201 West Road in Redwood Valley. Linda passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013.
Born October 13, 1931 in Holland, she graduated from Hopland High School and has lived in the area for the past 66 years. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and extremely proud of her grandchildren. Linda was a member of Sew and Sews, Sons of Italy and Redwood Valley Community Church. She enjoyed golfing, going to the cabin at Lake Pillsbury and mostly being with Ernie. She will be remembered as a fantastic loving mom and grandma. There was always an open door for and of the family’s friends. Her devotion to be at all the events of her children and grandchildren even though many of them made her very nervous. She will be missed greatly by all. We love you mom and grandma. She would always say, “You can’t raise your kids or grandkids in a glass bubble. They are covered by a higher power.”
Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ernie Piffero, daughter Vicky Crawford and husband Bill, sons Danny Piffero and wife Danielle, Rick Piffero and wife Michelle, brother Robert Prinselaar, grandchildren Lance and Brett Piffero, Willie, Kyler and Trevor Crawford, Erica and Kalvin Piffero.
