Graveside services for Kathleen Poor-Hopper of Ukiah will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Ukiah Cemetery. Born April 28, 1927 in Girard, Kansas, Kathleen passed away at a local hospital on Thursday, February 14, 2013 with her family by her side.
Kathleen was a housewife and mother who was all about family. She was most proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her holiday gatherings. She loved Thanksgiving and Christmas. Kathleen was all about her family.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Stratman, Kathy McWilliams, Willa Lyle, sons Chuck Woolley, John Poor Jr., sisters Ida Woolley, Mary Wilkinson, brothers Bill and Jim Wirt, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hopper in January 2011, by 3 children Jeannie Walters, John Woolley Jr., Billy Poor and 2 brothers Tom and Paul Wirt.
