Obituary:
George Pritchard was born July 26, 1942 in Pensacola, Florida to Evelyn and Roy A. Pritchard. He lived in Oakland in his youth, and in 1988 moved to Ukiah with his beloved wife Mary Pritchard (née McCarthy) and their son, where he enjoyed his days painting houses and mixing paint. After four years of battling cancer, he passed away the evening of September 25th, with his son andhis longtime companion Jeanne Caldwell by his side. His great joys in life were driving up the Pacific Coast with his family, dining at buffet restaurants, and rooting for the San Francisco Giants. He was known about Ukiah as a jovial and kind man, always eager to greet everyone with his signature “Buon giorno!” He is survived by his son, Daniel Pritchard, of San Francisco, his brother, Raymond Pritchard, of Massachusetts, and his uncle, Roy L. Pritchard, of Alamo.
