Born August 11, 1946 in Nampa, Idaho, the only child of Howard Leland Pruden and Phyliss Katherine Looslie, who both predeceased in an 1980 airplane accident. She had no children and is survived by her husband of 38 years, Charles “Mike” Morgan of Ukiah, Nick & Regina Hauert of Salt Lake City a Aunt and Uncle and sister-in-Law Michele Van Epps (Jim) of Reno. Judy was a graduate of Brigam Young University and Redlands University. She loved to travel, see new things and soak up information that would not be forgotten.
A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She lived her religion of hard work, high morals, helping others and gave countless volunteer hours in numerous organizations. She was especially proud of giving 20 years of service on the Ukiah Planning Commission and being a founder and organizer of “Pumpkinfest”, which she also served for 20 years. Her strong sense of doing what was best for the community, not the bottom line, will be greatly missed.
