Esther Ramirez

Esther Ramirez born on May 25, 1926 died peacefully in her sleep at Ukiah Adventist Hospital on March 27, 2013. Esther was a life-long resident of Redwood Valley, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Stella Tooley, her husband William Ramirez and her sisters, Eileen, Margaret and Evangeline. She is survived by her son, Anthony Tooley and her daughters, Gloria and Debra Ramirez, Juana Brown and Gayle Zepeda. Esther was a proud and loving grandmother to Richard Garcia, Lisa Ray, Mark Ray, Jason Ray, Kevin Ray, Eagle and Mikela Jones, Gary Joe, Leslie Good-Iron, Robyn Hoel, Ben Tooley, Michael Tooley, Tina Tooley, Vince and Brandi Brown and Nicholas Garcia. Esther has three nieces, Pamela Tooley, Stella and Maria LaFranchi. She was loved by her 20 great-grandchildren, numerous extended family and will be truly missed. Esther enjoyed playing the guitar, going to the casino and the simple pleasures of life.
A private service and viewing will be on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Naomi Gelardi of Consolidated Tribal Health and the other health providers for their caring support.
