Obituary:
Arlen James Ramming was born on June 25, 1988 and died on January 20, 2020 at 31 years of age. Arlen had an uncommon ability to make connections with people wherever he lived. The athlete, artist, comedian, musician, mechanic and more… He was funny, caring, creative, loving, smart, charming and generous. He especially enjoyed fishing and music concerts.
Arlen was raised in Willits, California. He served 6 years in the U.S. Army working on helicopter electrical systems while stationed in Korea and Afghanistan. He returned to Willits for a few years and helped his brother run Printing Plus before moving to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he lived for 4 years. While there, he traveled the world, visiting Thailand, Germany, Belgium, Holland, and more. He returned to the United States in 2019 to live near family and continue his education and career in aviation mechanics.
Arlen is survived by his father James Ramming (Janice Bickford), his mother Dorothy (Daniel) Mazzanti, his brother Patrick (Tanja) Ramming, his brother Timothy (Jennifer) Ramming, his sister Sarah (Daniel) Droze and step-­‐siblings Aly and Dylan Mazzanti, Brandie Webster and Patrick Rodriguez.
Arlen loved being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews: Hanna, Saren, Morgan, Shannon, Ivan, Cameron, Jubal and Aaron.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Arlen’s life at 11
a.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Redwood Valley Community Church-­‐Family Center, 951 E. School Way, Redwood Valley, CA. In Arlen’s honor, please wear comfortable clothes like you are attending a family picnic, lunch will be provided.
