In Loving Memory of Ramon Cortez Arceo

June 23, 1956 – June 1, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ramon Cortez Arceo, who peacefully journeyed to his eternal rest on June 1, 2023, at the age of 66. He bravely battled complications of cancer, surrounded by his family.

Ramon was a remarkable man, known for his kindness, integrity, and perseverance. He was a devoted husband to Eva for 42 years, setting an example of unwavering love and support. As a father to Paulo, Jeremy Alvin, and Ma. Julia , he provided guidance, discipline, compassion, and strength, imparting the values of family and hard work.

Professionally, Monching, as fondly called by his colleagues and friends, excelled as a Teacher, admired for his expertise and commitment to excellence. He embraced a love of learning and shared his knowledge generously. His colleagues respected his work ethic and professionalism.

Ramon will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laughter, funny jokes, delicious food and compassionate heart. His kindness and empathy knew no bounds, bringing comfort to those in need. His legacy of love and compassion will endure.

In the midst of our grief, we find solace in knowing that Ramon is now at peace.

Daddy, your presence will forever be missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts. We are forever grateful for the time we had together and the impact you made on our lives.

May we honor Ramon by fostering love, compassion, and unity. Let us cherish our connections and support one another. Though he may be physically absent, his legacy will never be forgotten.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the healthcare professionals who provided compassionate care to Dad. To our friends and family, your love and support have brought us solace during this difficult time.

As we say our final goodbyes, we take solace in the memories we hold dear. Ramon, rest peacefully knowing that your love will guide us and your spirit will shine on. We love you and miss you more than words can express. Until we meet again, may you find eternal serenity.

On Thursday, June 8, from 12pm to 8pm there will be a viewing at Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah.  A funeral service to honor and celebrate Ramon Cortez Arceo’s  life will be held on Friday, June 9th at 10:15 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Friends, family, and community members are invited to join. A reception at the St. Mary’s Church hall will be held after the service.
