Randall (Randy) Wayne Ford, age 65 of Kelseyville, CA. passed away tragically in a
motor vehicle accident, on Thursday, May 18th, 2023, in Ukiah, California.
Randy was born to Faye Hatfield and Leonard Frye on March 26th, 1958, in Eureka,
CA. At around the age of 2 or 3, Randy and his siblings were adopted by Harold and
Eva Ford. Randy started his career at 18 years of age in the logging industry,
working for Hyatt logging, Beam logging and Philbrick just to name a few. He spent
over 45 years doing what he loved. When friends and family remember Randy,
they think of cowboy hats, Land Cruisers and cut off shirts. He was a member of
the Yurok Tribe.
Randy is survived by his significant other Theresa Till, his children, Randall
(Tony)/Carrie Ford, Dwayne/Casey Ford, Justin Ford, Curtis Ford, Kindall
Ford/Patrick Garcia, Isaiah Smith, his grandchildren, Alycia, Dominic, Andrew,
Jaden, Austin, Wyatt, Mackenzie, Anthony, Bradley, Dawson, Aryanna, Cooper, his
brother Cliff, sisters Davita, Dixie, Luwana and Linda (who passed 5 days after
Randy), along with many nieces and nephews.
Randy was proceeded in death by his grandparents Stella & Eldon Hatfield, father
Leonard Frye, mother Faye Hatfield, adopted parents Harold & Eva Ford, brothers
Eldon and Leeroy Hatfield, brother Eugene Frye, Aunt Sharon “Boo Boo” Belding,
and Uncle Homer Hatfield.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, at the Coyote
Valley Gymnasium, 7701 N State Street, Redwood Valley, CA. from 1pm-8pm. He
will be put to rest with his sister Linda at the Greenwood Cemetery in Arcata and
join his brother Eugene and other family members on June 2nd, 2023, at 12:00pm.
