Obituary:
Barbara Ann Rawles, 91 of Ukiah passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home. Barbara was born November 29, 1920 in Ukiah.
Barbara attended 1 year at Santa Rosa JC. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church Ukiah.
Her family will remember her love of family, God and all His creations.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Jess A. Rawles on December 7, 1995, longtime owner of the Redwood Tree Service Station. Her sister Doris R. Pringle (Dec 2, 1913 died June 1, 2005), brother Robert H. Ford (Apr 29, 1916 died July 12, 1990). Her parents who were from pioneer families, William Kirk Ford born Nov 14, 1887 in Ukiah, died Sept 7, 1959 and Veva Rena Clark born Dec 29, 1889 in Talmage, died Jan 15, 1972.
Barbara is survived by her daughters Daphne Martyn and her husband Jerry Martyn, Janet McGee and her husband Clayton McGee, grandchildren Angela Barrett, Greg Martyn, Jim McGee, Christine Duncan and Jeff McGee, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Also numerous nieces and nephews remain.
A graveside service will be held on Monday April 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Ukiah Cemetery with Pastor Art Barrett officiating.
Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be made to Hospice of Ukiah.
