Obituary:
Josephine Helen Roberta Renick-Fellows (Wootsie), passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Sacramento, February 26th, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1939, on the Ukiah Rancheria to Robert Renick and Lillian James, she was the only granddaughter of Pomo elder Moses James. Wootsie was blessed with (10) children, two (2) step-children and more than 90 grandchildren and great-grandchildren combined. She is survived by her children; James Renick Sr., Tom Renick, Rudy Esquivel Jr., Eddie Esquivel Sr., Orlando Esquivel Sr., Angelita Esquivel and Sheila Grant. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffery Whipple and daughters Anastasia Demezes and Jane Carpenter. Wootsie led a full life surrounded by the love of her family, she had a free spirit always seeing the brighter side of life, she loved to laugh and joke around but most of all spending time with her family was her greatest joy.
Her Wake and Viewing will be held at her son Tom’s home on the Ukiah Rancheria, Monday, February 27, 2017 at 3:00 PM until Wednesday, March 1st at noon. She will be laid to rest with her mother on the Ukiah Rancheria at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2017. Donations can be sent to the Eversole Mortuary 141 Low Gap Road, Ukiah, Ca 95482
