Obituary:
Evelyn Leah Rice (nee Roll) passed to her rest February 27, 2015 in Ukiah, CA. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Harold and Ancel Roll November 6, 1916, and celebrated her 98th birthday last fall. She was graduated cum laude from Union College in Lincoln, NE, with a degree in music, and taught piano for several years. She was married for over 65 years to Frank H. Rice, who preceded her in death 6 years ago. Living most of her adult life in St. Louis, MO, she played organ for the Central Seventh Day Adventist church where she was a member for many years. She and Frank retired to Florida prior to moving to Ukiah 14 years ago. Surviving her are daughter Lilli Rice, of Ukiah, son Steve Rice of St. Louis, and son Geoffrey Rice of Ukiah. Five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren will remember her with love, and she is missed by all those who knew her well. Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
